1. When writing, always click on the ‘write page’ tab, otherwise you will mistakenly write in the default category of ‘write post.’
2. To set the home page, go to ‘options’ and choose ‘reading’ and set a static home page from the available published pages
3. Making internal links appears to me (Peter) to be exceedingly difficult, as you must know the URL of the page. You can’t reference a page and then have the link ‘follow’ the page around even when that page is renamed. That seems annoying, but hopefully will change with time.
4. Uploading images: it only takes ‘jpeg’ or ‘jpg’ files. In Mac, the Grab function saves as .tiff and, amazingly, does NOT give you the option of saving as a jpg (unless I am wrong – please correct me!) A workaround is to save it as a tiff file, open the tiff file in aperture, and then resave it as a jpeg file. This requires you to use the file… import and file… export commands in a straightforward manner.
